Sealcoating

Professional asphalt sealcoating services for residential and commercial properties. Protect and extend the life of your driveway or parking lot with GSP Asphalt Paving — trusted since 1962.

Overview

The GSP
Approach.

Licensed · Insured · 60+ Years

Sealcoating is the most cost-effective way to protect your asphalt investment. By applying a protective barrier over the surface, sealcoating shields asphalt from UV rays, water penetration, oil spills, and the freeze-thaw cycles that cause cracking. GSP Asphalt Paving uses premium coal-tar or asphalt-based emulsion sealers applied by experienced crews.

Common Questions

Answers,
Up Front.

Don't see your question? Call (732) 552-8737 — a real person picks up.

  • How often should I sealcoat my driveway?

We recommend sealcoating every 2–3 years to maintain optimal protection. New asphalt should be allowed to cure for at least 6–12 months before the first sealcoat application.

  • How long does sealcoating take to dry?

Under normal conditions, sealcoating dries to foot traffic in 4–8 hours and is ready for vehicle traffic in 24–48 hours. Cooler temperatures or high humidity can extend drying time.

  • Can sealcoating fix cracks in my asphalt?

Sealcoating is a preventive treatment, not a repair. However, we fill existing cracks before applying sealcoat so the final result is both protective and cosmetically improved.
